MOZELL BELL GAMMONS…MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, GREAT GRANDMOTHER, GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, AUNT, AND FRIEND…..
The beloved daughter of Albert Bell and Florene Hankerson-Bell, was born in Reynolds, Georgia on December 12, 1936. Mozell grew up in Winter Park, FL attending the public schools of Orange County. Mozell married the love of her life, Lawrence Gammons in 1955.
Among all of Mozells’s accomplishments, being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother was her greatest source of joy. When she wasn’t working, Mozell could be found relaxing and enjoying fishing. She loved shopping and wearing stylish clothing and hats.
No one was more giving and more full of love for family and friends than Mozell and that was because of the love of God that lived deep on the inside of her. She was a very kind, gentle-hearted person who embraced life’s experiences with open arms and prided herself in having relationships full of love, humor and respect. She had an engaging personality that captured the hearts of all who knew her.
Mozell was a member of the Jamestown community’s church, Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church.
On the morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family; God in His infinite wisdom looked down through the corridors of time and gazed upon His creation. He spoke softly and said, “It is done!
