Jon Dustin Poole

MAY THE LIFE I LIVED SPEAK FOR ME…

Jon Dustin Poole was born in Orlando, Florida on March 3, 1989 and departed this earthly life on September 22, 2021. He was adopted by loving and committed parents Reverend W. Chris and Gertrude S. Poole at 15 months. He was an outgoing child, rough and tumble in play but smooth and charismatic in his mannerism presenting self-confidence that formed Jon’s distinctive personality. He never met a stranger.

He graduated from Hungerford Preparatory School, Eatonville, Florida and was recruited into the United States Marine Corps prior to graduation in 2008. Jon completed his basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina and served his active military duties at MWHS.I. Okinawa, JA (RUC 01027) as an Aviation Operations Specialist. Decorations, Medals, Badges, Citations and Campaign Ribbons awarded 2008 – 2012.

Jon accepted Christ in 1996 at Mt. Moriah and was active until he left for the Marines and returned to connect with Love of Truth Church in 2015, Reverend W. Chris Poole, Pastor.

He leaves to cherish his memories…..
Two sons: Tyler Poole and Derek Poole of Orlando, devoted parents: Reverend W. Chris and Gertrude S. Poole. Two sisters: Whitney S. Poole and Alexis S. Poole of Orlando, FL; Five brothers: James (Marian) Griffin of Philadelphia, PA., Marcus Poole and Brian (Buffy) Poole of Orlando, FL, Morgan (Erika) Poole of Altamonte Springs, FL and Jared E. Poole, of Orlando, FL; niece: SeMari Skye Poole and four nephews: Rickey Harp, Tre’von Poole, Tyrell Spicer-Poole, and Brian Poole, Jr., of Orlando, FL. Also left with memories are a host of sorrowing friends and acquaintances.
