HER STORY…

Felisha C. Johnson was born on December 14th, 1965 in Orlando, FL to Helen F. Sprowl. She was raised in Winter Park, FL where she attended and graduated from Winter Park High School in 1983. There she played basketball and was inducted into the Winter Park Basketball Hall of Fame. She then went on to receive her AA in Paralegal Studies, making the Dean’s list multiple times.

Felisha was no stranger to adversity, but she overcame every obstacle through determination and perseverance. When she wasn’t at Bingo, Felisha could be found advocating for the people in the community, spending time with her grandchildren, or laughing and joking with her family. One of her favorite things to do was give nicknames to the babies in the family, all of which have stuck with them well into adulthood.

Felisha was a devoted mother and grandmother, beloved sister, and loving daughter. She leaves behind three children, Jessica Johnson and twins, Mason and Morgan Turner. In addition, she leaves her siblings: Michael Johnson, Anyssa Johnson, Marcus Johnson, and Chelena Johnson; her grandchildren: Maliyah Turner, Tyson Turner, and Titan Turner; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members and cherished childhood friends.
