Monday, January 4, 2021, at 5 pm to 7 pm 
 
Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021, at 2:00 pm

LIFE REFLECTIONS OF:
 
QUILLIS LEE FREEMAN, SR.
 
Quillis Lee Freeman, Sr. was born in Selma,  Alabama on April 22, 1936 to Chester and Beadie (Payne) Freeman.  Quillis grew up in Apopka, FL.  and graduated from Hungerford High School, Eatonville, FL.  Quillis was a star basketball player for the Bobcats.
 
Quillis, a long time Winter Park Resident, owned Freeman Lawn Service for over 50 years.  He coached mid-night basketball and served on the Human Relation Council in Winter Park.  He mentored many young men and women on Winter Park’s Westside.
 
Quillis was preceded in death by his parents,  Chester Freeman and Beadie (Payne) Freeman,  his only brother, Eugene Freeman  (Queen Ester),
daughter; Terry Lynn Freeman and his first wife; Lillian Johnson Freeman Moore.
 
Quillis leaves to morn:  his wife, Carrie Mae Freeman, his children: Quillis Lee Freeman Jr.,  Craig E Freeman (Shannon), Vanessa Freeman and 
Abdul-Malik Freeman (Soumaya Beltajy-Freeman);  stephson; George Alan Helm,  Thirty-two grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
