Alice Pearl Allison (September 27, 1929 – April 16, 2020)

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm. to 7:00 pm. at Golden’s Funeral Home, Inc.,   
 
Public viewing will be held again on Saturday morning, April 25, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. at Golden’s Funeral Home, Inc.,  210 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Winter Park, FL.  
 
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday,  April 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm.,  at Pineywood Cemetery, 1810 S. Lakemont Ave, Winter Park, FL. 
 
 
Alice Pearl Allison lovingly known as “Alice the Great” by her grandchildren, a resident of  Winter Park, Florida was born in Hoganvsville, Georgia on September 27, 1929 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie Glen and Sammie Laura Allison (Camerson).
 
As a child, she attended Hogansville Elementary and Hogansville High School.  In March of 1958, the Allison Family relocated to Winter Park, Florida and at an early age, Alice joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she became an active member until her health failed.
 
She was employed at Rollins College and later retired from Winter Park Hospital.  Alice enjoyed spending time with her family (especially the grand children) as well as cooking delicious meals for them.  She always looked forward to attending the Cameron Family Reunion every year.
 
On Thursday,  April 16. 2020, the Lord in his infinite wisdom deemed it timely to call our beloved Alice Pearl Allison to her eternal resting place.  She was preceded in death by one Daughter (Betty Jean Allison),  (Sisters)  Helen Daniels, Eula Mae Tripplett,  (Brother) David Allison.
 
Alice leaves to cherish her precious memory:  Daughters:  Shellen Washington, Gladys Bias-Feacher, Endell  A. Williams (Daryal), Son:  Michael Allison; Brothers:  Willie Allison (Ruby), Albert Ellison; Lucille Curry, Joann Perkins (Robert) and Audrey Allison (Sister-in-Law).
Her life and memory will also be forever cherished by 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews and friends.
Alice leaves many loving and unforgettable memories with Special friends and companion, Jacob  Robinson.

    I had the pleasure of meeting Grandma Alice once and the love shown when I met her was tremendous. I also had the opportunity of hearing wonderful stories about Ms Alice from her grand-daughter. The laughs and memories you all get to keep in your hearts will be a blessing and a comfort. You all are in my prayers.
