Marsha “Denise” Foster Tooley was born February 1, 1957, to the late Herman Foster, Sr. and Elouise Hails in Detroit, MI.  Marsha’s brother (Herman Foster II), maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles preceded her in death.  Marsha gave her life to Christ early in life age and was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.

She began her educational journey in the Wayne County Public Schools of Detroit, MI.  Marsha holds several degrees: a B.S. degree from Talladega University:  also, further studies from Tuskegee University.  As an undergraduate student she pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.  After receiving her degrees, she joined her family to reside in Winter Park FL.

Marsha later enrolled at the Orlando Technical College to study nursing and to receive her license as a License Practical Nurse.  Marsh was employed for twelve years at the Lakeside Nursing Home and worked for private families as a sitter until she became ill.

Marsh loved her family and her dog, Chester.  For the record, if she could do anything for anybody she encountered, consider it done.  On February 1, 2020, Marsha Denise Foster Tooley answered the call to come rest from her labor to be with her Savior.  To cherish her memories is her devoted and beloved son: Derek Tooley, Winter Park, FL; mother: Elouise Hails (Bernard), Winter Park, FL; brother, Howard Craig Foster (Diane); sister-in-law:  Rosa Foster, Detroit, MI; ex-husband: George “Sonny” Tooley, III, Orlando, FL; two special cousins, Dr. Richard Allyn English, Chevy Chase, MD; and Bishop Jimmie Blake, Sanford, FL; and a host  of nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
