Obituary:

Errol Pereira III also known as “Gunsmoke,”—(a name affectionately given to him by his father)—to his family and friends was born in the beautiful city of Winter Park, Florida on November 2, 1993 to Serena Hopkins and

Errol Pereira, Jr. Errol attended primary school in Florida, at Orlando Junior Academy Seventh-Day Adventist School and Seaview Farm Primary School in Antigua. He attended middle school at Forest City Seventh-Day Adventist School and graduated in 2006 from Winter Park High School. After graduation, Errol moved to Baton Rouge, LA and attended Southern University.

Errol had a contagious laugh, and an amazing smile. He was extremely loyal to his family and friends and was always just a phone call or text (as he preferred) away. For everyone who knew him, knew that Errol enjoyed having fun, loved his German Shepherd, and enjoyed traveling.

Errol was always a leader and had the drive to accomplish any task that he put his mind to. Whenever there was a job to be done, he treated it as priority and got it done. Instead of being sad, Errol would have wanted everyone to celebrate life and enjoy the time they spent with him.

Errol will be greatly missed but his legacy will continue to live on through the many memories of those he left behind—his loving and devoted Parents: Serena Hopkins (Mother) and Errol Pereira, Jr. (Father); Grandparents: Bettie Bright and Errol & Jean Pereira,Sr.; Brother: Keyontay Perry,Jr.; Uncles: Demetrias Bright, Tamburo Hopkins, Dwayne Daniel & Family, Orville Pereira & Family, Patrick Pereira & Family, Ridley Jacobs & Family, Corey Richards & Family, Allison, Wayne, William, Donte, Shamar, Omar Pereira, and Lyndon (Danny) Smith-Shepard: Aunts: Dezara Bright, Bundalyn Pereira & Family, Anthea & Jerricia Pereira, Kimberly Bright and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
