Obituary:

A Time to Be Born…

Nepoleon “Neal” Robinson was born on November 23, 1932 in Wrightsville, Georgia, to Mr. James Willie and Ms. Winnie.  He was the 10th of 17 children, (7 girls and 10 boys).

A Time to Learn…

“Neal” received his early education in Wrightsville, Georgia. During those days, families traveled where work was to be found and “Neal” was a hard worker.

A Time to Love…

In 1954 he met and married Rosa Mae Hurst in Johnson County Georgia.  Later, he would find a very special love again with Christine Watkins of South Carolina, they would live the rest of their lives in Winter Park, Florida and enjoy many family members and longtime friends.

A Time to Live…

After moving from Wrightsville, Georgia to Winter Park, Florida, he worked as a tent installer at Kirby Rental.  In his spare time, “Neal” enjoyed fishing, listening to the blues, and being the life of the party.

A Time to Worship…

“Neal” occasionally attended Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church on historic Paramore Street in Orlando, Florida.

On August 16, 2018, “Neal” peacefully transitioned from this life at the age of 85.  He was preceded in death by his Brothers: Lee Telfair, John Telfair, William Telfair, James “Buddy” Robinson, Isaac Robinson, Hardrick Robinson, and Matthew Robinson; Sisters: Lizzie Sinkfield, Mamie Bivens, Francis Crowder, Lois Atkins, Clara Robinson, Annie Mae Blair and Marian Stephens.

He leaves two Brothers: Jacob Robinson and Daniel Robinson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and wonderful friends to cherish his memories.
