Obituary:
“To everything is a season and time to every purpose under the heaven.  A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted…a time to weep, and a time to laugh: a time to mourn, and a time to dance…”

Anthony Gardner was born in Orlando, FL on September 5, 1946 and was the second oldest of five children born to the late Mildred and James Gardner, his parents.  He attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Jones High Shool with the class of 1965.

Upon graduating high school, Mr. Gardner enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  He served in the Vietnam War, and also worked at the United States Pentagon. He earned a Purple Hear, National Defense Service Metal, and a Vietnam Service Metal.  Upon leaving the Marines, Mr. Gardner received an honorable discharge.

Tony had a keen sense of humor.  His whole persona was that of a life long comedian.  No matter who you were, and what you were going through, Tony had a way of making you see the humor in it.  He was a people person, so everyone he met was a friend indeed.  He was even keeled emotionally, so you never see him angry.  He took pride in being a big hearted Dad to many.
